Liz Taub aka Violizzy is a fiddler-singer-songwriter with numerous bands (including Bluestone 739, The Val Kinzler Band, Steven Blane, Lucas Rotman, and Bob Tellefsen) Violizzy has earned her reputation as an eclectic artist, able to play any type of genre from country to classical. Her base is NYC but she performs all over the world, from Jerusalem, Israel to Vancouver, Canada. She is also a member of the UNSCR Symphony Orchestra and the Queer Urban Orchestra, showcasing her refined training as a violinist. As a singer-songwriter Liz has expanded her musical community, bringing together friends and other musicians to perform original Violizzy songs. She loves to collaborate with others. Member of ARTivistUS, a social justice organization that supports musicians and artists who send a message to the world that we must act NOW to protect civil rights, preserve our planet and protect the environment.

Member of the People’s Music Network, as well as the NYC Labor Chorus, who perform around NYC for special events, including rallies, parades and choral extravaganzas.

Liz is also a Licensed Certified Social Worker in private practice in Manhattan. Her psychotherapy practice is informed by an array of skills, from hypnotherapy to energy work & performance wellness techniques. As Secretary of We the She NYC, Liz utilizes her many talents to assist in workshops, events and planning meetings.
